Captain's Quarters

The grill's still warm, the fire pit's crackling, and somewhere out in that 1.5-acre yard, the kids have disappeared into a cloud of laughter. This is what a real getaway feels like — not a hotel checkout vibe, but the kind of place where you lose track of time and someone eventually says "one more night." Captain's Quarters gives your group the space to fully exhale.

─ THE SPACE

Captain’s Quarters sits on 1.5 private, fully fenced acres in Crystal Beach — rare space in a coastal area where most properties are packed tight. It’s a single-family home built for groups that want privacy, character, and room to spread out without bumping into each other.

The living areas flow easily between indoor comfort and outdoor living. The main living room has a leather sectional, coastal art, and natural light. A separate entertainment room has a dedicated smart TV setup with a custom built-in entertainment center. When dinner’s done, the dining table seats the whole group. When the dishes are cleared, the fire pit is calling.

Outside is where this place really opens up. There’s a covered patio under the house — shaded, breezy, the perfect place to land after a beach run. The fenced backyard has seasonal fruit trees guests can actually pick from, a fire pit for the evenings, and a BBQ grill for the afternoons. Anglers will appreciate the oversized 1.5-acre lot with plenty of room to park boats and trailers, plus quick access to nearby boat ramps, East Galveston Bay, and Gulf fishing. If your group brought a golf cart, it’s a straight, easy shot to the beach from the driveway.
